NTSB Issues Report on Heavy-Weather Damage to NCL Cruise Ship

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued a report on the heavy-weather damage incurred by the cruise ship NORWEGIAN DAWN off Charleston on April 16, 2005. The NTSB concluded that the damage to the ship and injuries suffered by several passengers were caused by waves breaking over the bow during the ship’s unavoidable encounter with severe weather and heavy seas.
