UASC Equips Fleet with Iridium Systems

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) is installing Iridium satellite terminals on 29 ships, as well as at its home office in Dubai, U.A.E. in a move to reduce monthly satellite communication costs. World-Link Communications, Inc. is supplying and installing the Iridium satellite systems which will be serviced by Stratos, the leading global provider of advanced mobile and fixed-site remote communications solutions.
