New Business Focus Brings Shifts in W&O Leadership

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

May 29, 2013

W&O Supply, a global supplier of marine and upstream oil and gas, pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation and engineered solutions, has redefined the roles of a few members of its senior leadership team as it continues to pursue new opportunities in the domestic and international marine markets.

By continually identifying specific needs in the industry and by realigning the strengths of its leadership team, W&O is better poised to bring even more cost-saving and regulation-compliant solutions to the marine industry, specifically within the growing commercial sector where it is involved in a number of design, new-build, and retrofit projects. This shift will help maintain W&O’s position as a leader in supplying pipe, valves, fittings and engineered solutions to the marine and upstream oil and gas industries.

Michael Page now serves as the Vice President-East and West Coast Operations. In this role, he leads W&O’s expansion in four key regions: Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast. W&O’s Regional Managers in these markets report directly to Page as new and ongoing business opportunities are pursued in their respective markets. Having formerly served as W&O’s Chief Financial Officer, Michael’s background in finance, business management and acquisitions make him a perfect fit for this newly established role.

Greg Lechwar has been promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer for W&O. Having served as the company’s Corporate Controller for the past four years, Lechwar has a strong background in financial management with several large industrial companies, including Patriot Transportation and Ring Power Corporation. As CFO, Lechwar oversees the company's financial matters, including banking, insurance, cash management and budgeting.

Kurt Gibson, formerly W&O’s Director of Sales, is now Director of International Business Development and Marketing. Gibson’s new duties have him focusing on the continued growth and development of W&O’s global business, with an emphasis in the United Arab Emirates and Southeast Asia. He also oversees W&O’s worldwide marketing efforts, to ensure the company is reaching its targeted markets with solution-oriented communications.

Fred Loomis has taken on the role of W&O’s Director of Technical Projects. Formerly the Director of Navy and Government Sales, he possesses a vast wealth of knowledge on industry trends and projects. In his new role, he is engaged with all of the company’s key markets and relevant projects, leading and implementing the unique cost-saving and regulation-compliant solutions that W&O brings to the market. He also works very closely with all of W&O’s North American Regional and Branch managers who serve and sell to their local markets.
