W&O, a global supplier to the marine and marine offshore markets for pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation and engineered solutions, announced several changes to leadership at its Gulf Coast branches, as well as at its offices in Charleston, Norfolk and Fort Lauderdale.

Vince Rodomista, a graduate of Kings Point with a degree in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation, joins W&O as General Manager of the Houston branch. He spent the first seven years of his professional career as an engineer and deck officer onboard a variety of vessels. Rodomista came shore side to work for Caterpillar Marine for 12 years, including international postings in Singapore and Australia, followed by five years at Goltens Service Company in South Florida. Vince has served in a variety of roles spanning direct sales, technical sales support, sales management, marketing, strategic planning and overall P&L responsibility.

Other notable leadership changes occurring in W&O’s Gulf Region include the rehiring of Craig Cabiro, who will support the Greater Houston area as the Sales Manager, bringing his customer-first mindset to the Offshore and Commercial Marine market segments.

Debbie Garner, Regional Manager at W&O, will continue to oversee the growth and expansion of W&O’s Gulf Region branches in Houma and New Orleans, La. and Mobile, Ala. Garner assumed responsibility of the Houston branch in January 2011, developing and leading the transformation of the Houston branch into the largest at W&O. In addition to her work in leading Houma, New Orleans and Mobile, Garner will play a major role in developing corporate-wide initiatives designed to bring additional value and benefit to our global customer base.

Garner has also announced the promotion of Tony Calamia, a six-year veteran of outside sales at W&O, to the position of Sales Manager for the New Orleans and Houma locations. Tony’s capabilities and understanding of the market will be an asset to the W&O sales team and our customers alike as we continue to serve this growing market. Johnny Lasseigne has been promoted to Operations Manager at our Houma branch. Lasseigne joined W&O in 2007 as Senior Inside Sales Representative, delivering a wealth of knowledge and experience to the benefit of our customers in the area.

Kyle Posey, Phil Jiannine and Charles Ledford, all longtime W&O employees, have been promoted to the position of Branch Manager.

“Kyle, Phil and Charles have exceptional ‘customer first’ attitudes. These dedicated employees have displayed a commitment to W&O and a passion to perform. As market leaders, I am confident they will take their branches to the next level in 2014,” said Michael Hume, President and CEO of W&O. “At W&O, professional and personal development of our employees is a priority. The culture of our organization is to support our team members and provide opportunities for upward mobility within the company.”

Kyle Posey, a W&O employee since 2004, will lead the Charleston location. He has served in various capacities including Employee Development Coordinator; Inside Sales Support for Marine, Navy and Offshore clients; and Senior Inside Sales Representative. Posey has worked in W&O’s Houston, Norfolk, Jacksonville and Rotterdam branches, and has been an active member of the Jacksonville Propeller Club and Jacksonville Area Ship Repair Association. Kyle looks forward to taking an active role in the Charleston marine community.

Charles Ledford will now serve as Branch Manager of W&O’s Fort Lauderdale branch. He began his time at W&O in 2006 shortly after receiving his bachelor’s degree in economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. Ledford has spent the last seven years serving in various capacities such as Inside Sales, Inside Sales Manager and most recently, Cruise Account Manager. In that role, he was responsible for accounts such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Princess cruise lines. Charles is an active member of the South Florida Maritime Lions Club.

Phil Jiannine has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Norfolk location. Phil has been a W&O employee since 2006, most recently as a Senior Sales Representative, and has more than 30 years’ experience in ship repair. During his time with the company Phil has supported major customers such as Newport News and BAE, along with supporting the industry by participating in the Propeller Club-Port of Norfolk, the American Society of Naval Engineers, the Virginia Ship Repair Association and the Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition. He also served as the General Manager of Premier, a W&O company out of Portsmouth, Va., which specializes in the fabrication of copper nickel fittings and deck drains.
