Marisco Signs $5.4M Navy Deal
Marisco, Ltd, Kapolei, Hawaii, is being awarded a $5,450,152
firm-fixed-price contract for the Restricted Availability of the
Repair Berthing & Messing Barge (YRBM-52). This contract
contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total
cumulative contract value to $7,618,379. Work will be performed
in Kapolei and is to be completed by May 2003. Contract funds
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This award
was competitively procured and advertised electronically in the
Federal Business Opportunities Web site, with five proposals
solicited and two offers received. The Supervisor of
Shipbuilding, Conversion, & Repair, U.S. Navy, San Diego is the
contracting activity (N62791-03-C-0015).
