AVEVA Launches Software Upgrade

AVEVA announced new productivity enhancements in the latest release of AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation, feature-rich software applications for electrical and instrumentation engineering and design in plant and marine projects. New functionality also includes offering best-in-class cable routing capabilities based on AVEVA Everything3D (AVEVA E3D) as well as delivering greater flexibility to the way in which distributed engineering teams can configure and control projects.

AVEVA, ETAP to Deliver Industry First for Electrical Engineers

AVEVA and ETAP have signed a partnership agreement under which both companies will jointly develop a software interface between AVEVA Electrical and ETAP’s enterprise solution for electrical power systems. TEPNG Integrates AVEVA Engineering & Design

AVEVA announced that TOTAL E&P Nigeria Ltd. (TEPNG) has adopted AVEVA’s Engineering & Design solutions as part of an Integrated Engineering & Design approach. TEPNG is the operator of a joint venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). The Company has invested in acquired licenses for AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Diagrams and AVEVA Review and has fully implemented the software across its local site modifications and repair projects. “This investment in AVEVA’s solutions demonstrates the value our products deliver to Owner Operators engaged in complex engineering projects,” said Fredy Ktourza, Senior Vice President, Western Europe and Africa, AVEVA.

GHD Reports Increased Efficiency with AVEVA

Engineering, architecture and environmental consulting company GHD said it has achieved considerable cost savings by integrating AVEVA Electrical with AVEVA Instrumentation. GHD’s team in Brisbane, Australia has been using AVEVA Instrumentation successfully since 2011, and its productivity encouraged GHD to also implement AVEVA Electrical in the summer of 2013. “Using the combination of AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation enables us to create high-quality electrical and instrumentation design on one database,” said Rob Trout, Senior Process Control/Instrumentation Engineer, GHD.

AVEVA (LSE:AVV),  announced on May 22, 2012 AVEVA Instrumentation 12.1, an enhanced version of its instrumentation and control engineering software is available. AVEVA Instrumentation 12.1, an instrumentation application  and one of AVEVA’s fastest growing products, is available for both plant and marine environments.
