Tech File: Wärtsilä Voyage Bridge Tech for National Geographic Resolution

Wärtsilä Voyage delivered its integrated bridge and navigation solution for polar cruise vessel National Geographic Resolution. Built at Ulstein Verft shipyard, Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, Inc. took delivery of the National Geographic Resolution in September 2021. OSI to Deliver IBNS for the US Navy LCS Program

OSI Maritime Systems said it has signed a contract with Lockheed Martin to provide its Integrated Bridge and Navigation System (IBNS) for the U.S. Navy Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. “We are pleased to have signed this very important contract with Lockheed Martin. Raytheon Anschütz Enhance Bridge INS

German navigation system manufacturer Raytheon Anschütz says it has launched a new Synapsis software release and hardware infrastructure, which will further enhance the bridge alarm management and add new features and capabilities to the Integrated Navigation System (INS). Synapsis Intelligent Bridge Control is the world’s first Integrated Navigation System (INS) which complies with the IMO Performance Standards MSC.252(83) and IEC 61924-2. Raytheon Anschütz Innovations to Debut at SMM

German navigation system manufacturer Raytheon Anschütz announced the launch of navigation system innovations as well as improvements to existing technologies for this year’s SMM. The world’s first IMO-certified Integrated Navigation System (INS), Synapsis Intelligent Bridge Control, will take the center stage at the Raytheon Anschütz booth. About two years after product launch, more than 100 Synapsis systems have been contracted and more than half of them are already in operation.
