Stork Announces Two New Appointments
Stork Technical Services has appointed Dave Workman to the new position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Erik-Jan Bijvank as Senior Vice President (SVP) UK and Africa. Mr Workman and Mr Bijvank will both be based in Aberdeen, UK, which is the operational hub for the company’s upstream oil & gas business, and take on their respective roles with immediate effect. As COO, Mr Workman will oversee all operational matters and help drive Stork’s global growth plans across the company’s four key regions; UK & Africa, Continental Europe, MECAP (Middle East, Caspian, Asia-Pacific) and the Americas.
Stork Nets Contract Extension
Stork Technical Services heralds rebrand of RBG with multi-million pound contract extension. Stork Technical Services, the leading global provider of knowledge-based asset integrity management services for the chemical, oil and gas and power sectors, today announces its rebrand of the RBG group, following the company’s acquisition in May 2011. The rebranding takes place on the same day that the group unveils a £25million pound two-year contract extension with a major North Sea operator that will generate around 30 new offshore positions in 2012.
RBG Appoints New Finance Director
RBG, the leading provider of assess, inspect and repair (AIR) services to the global energy industry that was recently acquired by Stork Technical Services (STS), has appointed Sandeep Sharma as its new finance director. Mr Sharma is responsible for leading RBG’s global financial management, planning, controls and reporting, as the company enters a period of growth and integration with STS. A qualified chartered accountant with an MBA from London Business School, Mr Sharma joins RBG with more than 25 years finance experience and is based at the company’s Aberdeen, UK headquarters.
RBG Strengthens Team With CNNS Director Appointment
RBG, a provider of assess, inspect and repair (AIR) services to the global energy industry that was recently acquired by Stork Technical Services, has appointed John Kelly to the newly created role of Central and Northern North Sea (CNNS) operations director. Mr Kelly is responsible for leading operational activity across the CNNS (UK) region and ensuring RBG delivers a quality service, whilst maintaining the highest HSEQ standards. The role provides an enhanced operational focus for both onshore and offshore activity throughout the CNNS, which is a significant growth area for RBG.
