Seatrium Delivers Singapore’s First Membrane LNG Bunker Vessel
Seatrium has delivered Brassavola, Singapore’s first membrane LNG bunker vessel built locally by the group, to owner Indah Singa Maritime, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL).Following delivery, Brassavola will be chartered by Pavilion Energy to supply LNG bunker in the Port of Singapore.The vessel, which is expected to start operations in February 2024, will also be deployed by TotalEnergies Marine Fuels to serve its customers under a long-term agreement with Pavilion Energy.Measuring 116.5 meters in length and 22 meters in width…

The DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and its Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL) in Atlantic City, NJ, have developed a way to test technical solutions to the need to find out quickly what's in a container. The Container Security Test Bed (CSTB) – an outdoor “laboratory” allows researchers and developers from government, academia, and industry to explore novel ways to detect threats in a cargo container.
