Teledyne Acquires FLIR

Industrial conglomerate Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) said it has completed its acquisition of thermal imaging cameras and sensors company FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLIR). FLIR will now be included in Teledyne’s Digital Imaging segment and operate under the name Teledyne FLIR.Under the terms of the cash-and-stock deal announced in January, FLIR stockholders received $28.00 per share in cash and 0.0718 shares of Teledyne common stock for each FLIR share, which implies a total purchase price of approximately $57.40 per FLIR share based on Teledyne’s closing price on May 13.

TDI-Brooks’ newest vessel R/V Miss Emma McCall has recently completed its first projects for the U.S.-based marine data acquisition services company on behalf of Total and Cairn Energy offshore Mexico. Greensea’s New Ship Hull Crawler Tech Launches with VideoRay Defender ROV

AAM Builds Patrol Boat for Texas Parks and Wildlife

Shipbuilder All American Marine, Inc. (AAM) said it has launched an aluminum catamaran built to patrol Texas state and federal waters for the law enforcement division of Texas Parks and Wildlife. The 80’ x 27’ (OAL) Captain Murchison features twin CAT C18 ACERT D Engines, with Hamilton Jet HM 521 waterjets and is built to USCG Subchapter T standards. It is also the first vessel in North America to feature Hamilton Jet’s innovative Advanced Vessel Control (AVX) system. Axxis Geo Secures Middle East Gig

Norwegian ocean bottom node (OBN) seismic company Axxis Geo Solutions (AGS) has signed the contract for the 3D OBN seismic acquisition survey in the Middle East following the securing of a letter of intent for the project in September.The work is expected to commence in early January 2020 and will continue through most of the first quarter 2020."This contract will secure activity for the company and contribute with revenues through most of the winter season.
