Golden Ocean Group Appoint Two New Board Members

Norway based dry bulk shipping company Golden Ocean Group Limited IGOGL) has announced that Ulrika Laurin and James O'Shaughnessy have been elected as new board members.Ulrika Laurin has been the Executive Chairman of ship-owning company Anglo-Atlantic Steamship Co. Ltd. and the Chairman of Laurin Shipping AB, an international ship-management company.She has served as the CFO of Anglo-Atlantic Steamship Co. Ltd. and as Commercial Manager of Laurin Maritime (UK) Ltd. Prior to that, she worked with fund manager Tufton Oceanic Ltd. and with management consultant Karlöf & Partners. Rolls-Royce Takes Davies on Board

Rolls-Royce appointed Alan Davies as a Non-Executive Director. He will join the Board with effect from November 1, 2015 and will become a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee, and the Audit Committee. Alan Davies is currently Chief Executive of Rio Tinto's Diamonds and Minerals division. He joined Rio Tinto in 1997 and has held a number of senior positions in Australia, London and the US, predominantly in Rio Tinto's Iron Ore product group where he has served as CFO, Managing Director Global Development and as President International Operations. Alan Davies is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Marsh to Take Over as Lloyd’s Register CEO

Alastair Marsh, current CFO at the Lloyd’s Register Group Ltd. (LR), has been appointed as the successor to CEO Richard Sadler who has decided to step down at the end of 2015. Sadler will pass the CEO role to Marsh on October 1, 2015 and commence a formal handover period until the end of December 2015. Simon Nice, currently Group FP&A Director, will take up the role of Interim Group Financial Director during the transition. Ledwidge Named CFO of Irish Continental Group

David Ledwidge has been appointed to the position of chief financial officer at Irish Continental Group Plc (ICG).   A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Bachelor of Science graduate from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ledwidge joined ICG from accountants Deloitte in 2006.    Ledwidge has held various financial positions within the group, first as group risk accountant followed by his appointment as Irish ferries financial controller, and in 2013 was appointed Irish ferries finance director.

Teekay LNG Partners Announces Change to Board of Directors

Teekay LNG Partners L.P. announced that Beverlee F. Park has accepted an invitation to join Teekay LNG's Board of Directors and to Chair its Audit Committee, effective March 11, 2014. Park replaces Robert E. Boyd who retired today from the Teekay LNG Board after serving as a Director and Chair of its Audit Committee since 2005. Park has extensive management and board experience in a variety of industry sectors. She has served at the board, CEO, COO and CFO level in publicly-traded, private and Crown corporations and has experience in an array of operating environments in both the domestic and offshore markets. Park was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 2012. She has served on and acted as Chair of various audit committees.

Husky Energy Increases Production

Husky Energy Inc. reported net earnings of $126 million ($0.29 per share) in the first quarter of 2002, compared with $192 million ($0.42 per share) in the same quarter of 2001. Cash flow from operations in the same period was $373 million ($0.87 per share), down from $620 million ($1.46 per share) in the first quarter of 2001.
