Solstad Offshore Sells Platform Supplier to Atlantica Shipping
Solstad Offshore has sold the platform supply vessel Normand Aurora for an undisclosed fee.The Norwegian offshore vessel owner said that the delivery of the vessel to the new owner took place Tuesday, July 5, 2022.While Solstad did not say who the buyer was, the Norwegian company Atlantica Shipping confirmed it had bought the vessel."Today the PSV Normand Aurora was delivered to us. She will be renamed Atlantica Supplier. She is a 2005-built large PSV. After some years in lay-up, she will be reactivated and enter the market shortly. We wish her and the crew safe and prosperous voyages.
Solstad Farstad Bags New Contracts
TAQA Bratani has awarded Solstad Farstad ASA a contract for the Platform Supply Vessel PSV Far Spica (2013, PSV 08 CD Design). The contract is the duration of TAQA’s mobile drilling Campaign in the UK Sector, which is approx. 18 Months, with expected commencement in Q1 2018. Far Spica is currently trading the North Sea Spot Market. AGR Well Management Limited has awarded SOFF a contract for the PSV Normand Aurora (2005, P105 Design). The contract duration is for 1 well firm + 1 well options supporting West Hercules in the UK Sector and the commencement is expected to take place March 2018. The firm period has an estimated duration of 75 days. Normand Aurora is currently trading the North Sea Spot Market.
Solstad Gets Three PSV Charter Agreements
Total E&P UK Limited and Elf Exploration UK Limited have signed agreements for hire of the platform supply vessels (PSV) “Normand Aurora”. The duration of the contract is firm for 5 years with further 2 x 1 year options. EDT Offshore Egypt S.A.E has signed for hire of Stand-By vessel “Normand Draupne ”. The duration of the contract is firm for 1 year with further 1 year option with commencement April 2012. Finally, Statoil Petroleum AS has hired the platform supply vessel (PSV) “Normand Corona”.
