Thomas Chance founded C & C Technologies in his home in 1992. Today C & C is a global oil field surveying and mapping company with more than 550 employees in ten offices worldwide. C & C was the first company in the world to offer autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) survey services to the oil industry and remains a world leader in the field. In April of 2015, he sold C & C Technologies to Oceaneering International. Unique System FZE, a Unique Maritime Group company, an integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider, has been awarded a two-year service contract by The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC). Established in April 1973, the NPCC is a construction company which provides clients total engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in the development of offshore and onshore oil and gas fields for the Arabian Gulf and the regional markets. Noordhoek Offshore B.V., based in Zierikzee - The Netherlands, ordered a newbuild diving offshore construction support (DOCS) vessel for itsNorth Western European operations. The delivery of this new vessel is scheduled for the second half of 2009, following its delivery it will join the Noordhoek fleet. This new, state-of-the-art vessel is, specifically designed for efficient diving operations in the harsh North Sea environment. The new vessel will have an 76 metres overall length, 18 metre beam, 100 tonne main crane and accommodation for 70 people.
