Reflex Marine to Bring FROG-6 into Mexico
Reflex Marine has been granted approval by the Mexican Merchant Marines to sell its crane transfer device, the FROG-6, in Mexico. The certification is a result of Reflex Marine working with the Mexican governmentâs testing agency, the Centro de Normalizacion y Certificacion de Productos (CNCP) for over a year, as well as the national oil operator PEMEX with the help of its local partner GINEMEX. Total E&P is First to Use FROG-XT4

DNV GL Helps Improve Crew Transfer Incident Reporting

Crew Transfer Safety Seminar in Aberdeen
A seminar focusing on crew transfer contingency planning is to be held in Aberdeen on Monday (September 2) organized by specialist transfer and lifting companies Reflex Marine and EnerMech. The event, which is free and open to everyone with an interest in the subject, has been organized in response to a high level of inquiries from people keen to learn about alternative means of transferring crews offshore. Reflex Marine Reports 52% Growth
Reflex Marine reported 52% growth in the last year through expanding global markets. Reflex said it has reached £5.8 million turnover, almost double its forecasted growth of 27% - with a profit before tax of around £1 million. Reflex Marine will donate 7.5% of its net profits (a record c.£56,000) to charitable causes via its not-for-profit Reflex Foundation. Reflex Marine supplies crew transfer devices and associated services. Its main products are the FROG and TORO â capsules that hold between three and nine crew-members to transfer them safely between a platform and vessel using a crane.

SEACOR Marine LLC christened its first CrewZer Class vessel, the SEACOR CHEETAH, in Galveston, Texas.
