Seabourn Orders Another Ultra-Luxury Ship

Seabourn has announced that it has exercised its option for a second new 40,350-GRT ship to be built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A. It will be a sister ship to the newbuild announced earlier this year. The first new Seabourn ship is scheduled for delivery in late 2016, and the second ship will be delivered in spring, 2018. Hospitality design icon Adam D. Tihany will also design the second new ship in its entirety, creating all indoor and outdoor guest areas, including multiple dining venues…

Fincantieri and Seabourn Cruise Line sign a Letter Of Intent for the construction ot an ultra-luxury cruise ship. Holland America Place Interior Design Contracts

The company's new Pinnacle-class cruise ship to feature interiors designed by two leading firms. Holland America Line has selected two design companies to create the interior spaces of the line's new 99,000-ton ship that is slated for delivery in February 2016. The first in a new Pinnacle-class of vessel, the ship will showcase decors by designer Adam D. Tihany and designer and architect Bjorn Storbraaten. Tihany will join Storbraaten, who successfully worked with Holland America Line on Eurodam and  Nieuw Amsterdam, in designing the ship's public rooms. Adam D.

New Ultra-Luxury Vessel, Seaborne Odyssey

The Yachts of Seabourn launched Seabourn Odyssey from Venice as the first ultra-luxury vessel to debut in six years. The 32,000-ton vessel built by T. Mariotti of Genoa, Italy, accommodates 450 guests in 225 luxury suites, ninety percent with verandas, offering one of the highest space-per-guest ratios in the industry with highly personalized service. Seabourn - Newest Ultra Luxury Yacht

The Yachts of Seabourn has announced its next ultra-luxury yacht, to be named Seabourn Sojourn in a ceremony in London in June 2010, before sailing on its 14 day Maiden Voyage. The sleek new vessel is being built in Italy, and will position from Genoa to London before its inauguration. "London has always been a great destination for our Seabourn yachts," noted Seabourn president and CEO Pamela Conover. "We have earned a large and loyal following of repeat cruise guests from the UK, and we are proud to debut our beautiful new vessel in London". Sailing from Greenwich, ports of call on its Maiden Voyage include the Faroe Islands, Iceland and the Norwegian Fjords. Fares and detailed itineraries will be announced in February 2009.
