IMTRA LED Courtesy Lights for MegaYachts

IMTRA, a leading manufacturer of advanced LED solutions, announced availability of its new Valencia and Majorca LED courtesy lights. The largest courtesy lights available from IMTRA, the Valencia and Majorca are designed to illuminate walkways and steps on large vessels and megayachts. The energy-saving LED fixtures feature an indirect LED light source that eliminates hot spots and glare, are surface-mounted for ultimate installation convenience, and have a smooth, low-profile design with curved surfaces to prevent them from catching on shoes and clothing. Crafted of certified AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel, the Valencia and Majorca are constructed to withstand the rigors of the marine environment faced by ocean-going vessels.

James P. Colie & Assoc. Refurbishes Sovereign of the Seas

Marine interior contractor, James P. Colie & Associates, announced it is near completion of interior refurbishment work on Sovereign of the Seas for Royal Caribbean International. The dry-dock was May 3 - May 21, 1999 at Atlantic Marine in Mobile, Ala. A crew of 100 from James P. Colie & Associates replaced the interiors of the Windjammer Café, 15 public restrooms, Ship Shape Center and the stair landings from Deck 4 to Deck 12. In the Windjammer Café, structural modifications were made to enclose the 8,000-sq.-ft. outdoor dining area, install new automatic sliding doors and new aft entrances from the pool deck. MY Illusion Delivered

ISA launches the fifth ISA120 M/Y Illusion at the end of June and delivered it in mid-July. The black and white boat featuring darkened walnut highlighted with Lalique inlays stainless steel trim and beveled mirrors throughout the interior. Hull number five of the highly successful composite based ISA 120 series is a one hundred percent custom built project developed from a close cooperation throughout the design, build and up to delivery between the shipyard, the owner’s family (represented by Lady Green), architect Pietro Mingarelli, Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons Monaco, and not least of all Captain Mark Wilkinson.
