Cosalt Offshore Secures CNR Contract

Cosalt Offshore has been awarded a contract with CNR International (UK) Limited. (CNR).

The contract, which is for three years,comes with a two one year options and will see Cosalt Offshore provide CNR with lifting and mechanical handling support services on five  platforms – Tiffany, Ninian North, Central and South and Murchison. Cosalt Offshore is the incumbent provider of these services to CNR, but the new contract was won as the result of a competitive tender process. Rod Buchan, chief executive of Cosalt Offshore, said: “We are delighted to be successful at the end of the comprehensive tender process. This win affirms our position as the leading contractor in this market sector.

“Securing this contract extension is extremely important to Cosalt Offshore. Keith Matheson, mechanical engineer at CNR, said: “Cosalt Offshore has provided an exceptionally high quality and cost-effective service over the past five years, and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”’ Work began earlier this year and will run until May 2017 with a team of Cosalt Offshore’s multi-skilled technicians servicing the contract.
