On September 27, 2014, the focus will be on running, climbing and playing at the FUNSports³ event at the Forstwiesen in Immenstaad. For the second time, Rolls-Royce Power Systems subsidiary MTU Friedrichshafen, BKK MTU and the Mercedes-Benz plant in Ravensburg are inviting keen runners from the Lake Constance –Upper Swabia region as well as company employees and their families to this event.

Whether they choose running, walking or relay, all participants have to complete a 12 km course. They will start at 13:30 h from Oberteuringen to Immenstaad. The running events are open to everybody.

The participants must only decide whether they want to run or walk the 12 km course or whether they want to join a team and run a five or seven kilometer long relay race. Depending on their age, employees’ children can take part in a 1,600 m or 800 m kid’s run. Registration at http://funsports.mtu-online.com.

Starting at 10:00 h, employees and their families are invited to test their limits in climbing at the adventure park in Immenstaad or to compete against colleagues in a soccer match. True to the maxim “It’s the taking part that counts!” families can demonstrate how they cope with different challenges as a team at the family games. We want to share the joy of doing sports together with our employees and their families at our FUNSports³ event,” said MTU employee Katja Geister, who is organizing this event.

FUNSports³ is a crucial part of the in-house health program at Rolls-Royce Power Systems. In 2012, 650 people took part in the first FUNSports³ event.

Further information on the route, registration conditions and the FUNSports³ program are available at http://funsports.mtu-online.com. Registration for the runs can also be found on this site.
