MOL Promotes Two to Director Level Positions

MOL (America) Inc. has promoted Diana Jackson and JoAnn Yourcheck to Director level positions. Jackson has been promoted to the position of Director, Equipment Control for North America, Caribbean, and Central America. Jackson, who is currently based in Seattle, Wash., will soon relocate to the company’s office located in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, Ill., where she will be responsible for managing equipment control functions. Jackson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position, having worked in various capacities for MOL since 1977. Prior to her recent promotion, Jackson served as MOL’s Manager of Operations for the Pacific Northwest region. Additionally, she has worked extensively in the areas of operations, traffic, sales, customer service and documentation. Finally, Jackson is also a member of the Washington area PMA sub-steering committee. Yourcheck has been promoted to a newly created position, Director of Business Processes for North America, Caribbean, Central and South America. In her new position, Yourcheck, who is based Edison, N.J., will collaborate with MOL’s customer service and I.T. teams to ensure that our internal and external data quality standards are achieved, computer systems and other technologies are used to increase the efficiency of MOL’s business processes, and she will be responsible for training employees on the use of MOL’s business systems. Additionally, Yourcheck will work closely with the company’s system group to plan and develop new systems and to review and evaluate user requests for modifications or enhancements to existing systems. Yourcheck began working for MOL in 1978. She has acquired extensive knowledge of business operating procedures having been involved with both the business and the technology side of the business. Prior to her recent promotion, Yourcheck served as Manager, e-Business and as principal liaison between MOL and GT Nexus, host and software provider for ocean transportation internet portal site, http://www.gtnexus.com.
