Ingram Barge Announces Executive Promotions

Craig E. Philip, Chief Executive Officer, Ingram Barge Company, today announced several changes and promotions for the Marine Group.

Dave O’Loughlin has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Vessel Operations and Strategic Sourcing, reporting to Kaj Shah, President, Ingram Barge Company.  Mr. O’Loughlin will head up vessel operations and oversee a strategic sourcing team comprised of the external services and purchasing departments.  He most recently served as Vice President of Dry Cargo Customer Service.  Mr. O’Loughlin is a member of the Board of Directors of the River Industry Executive Task Force (RIETF) and has been an active participant for years within the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® effort.

Brian Rafferty has been named Vice President, Customer Service, reporting to Mr. Shah.  In his new role, Mr. Rafferty will be responsible for Ingram’s dry cargo customer service and logistics planning functions. Previously, Mr. Rafferty was Vice President of Sales for Ingram’s liquid barge fleet.  Mr. Rafferty has served on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Waterway Operators and Shipyards (LAWS) for seven years, including two years as Chairman and Secretary.

Leigh Ann Baird has been named Vice President, Liquid Sales and Customer Service reporting to Dan Martin, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.  In her new role, Ms. Baird will be responsible for Ingram’s liquid barge fleet sales and customer service.  Ms. Baird was formerly Vice President, Strategic Planning and Sustainability.  She is a member of the Green Business Executives Network.  She currently serves on the board of The Nature Conservancy, Tennessee Chapter, and Living Lands and Waters, a nonprofit organization established to aid in the protection, preservation and restoration of the nation’s major rivers and their watersheds.

Chuck Arnold has been promoted to Vice President, Business and Strategic Development, reporting to Mr. Philip.  In his new role, Mr. Arnold will be responsible for business development and oversee a portion of the planning and analysis group.  He most recently served as Assistant Treasurer for Ingram Industries Inc.  Mr. Arnold joined Ingram Barge Company as Senior Analyst in Planning and Analysis in 2003 and has held various positions with both Ingram Barge Company and Ingram Industries Inc.

Dan Mecklenborg, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, has assumed responsibility for Custom Fuel Services in addition to retaining responsibility for Ingram’s legal, claims, safety and governmental affairs functions.  Custom Fuel is engaged in the sale and distribution of marine fuels and lubricants in excess of 130 million gallons annually at ten locations throughout the inland river system.  Mr. Mecklenborg serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Waterways Council, Inc. and is a member of the Inland Waterways Users Board. He is also Chair of The Nature Conservancy’s Great Rivers Partnership.

David Sehrt, Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Ingram Barge Company, will assume responsibility for the Barge Maintenance and Facilities teams, as well as continue his responsibility for Ingram’s Vessel Engineering function.  Mr. Sehrt is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the American Waterways Operators (AWO), and also chairs the AWO Marine Engine Emissions Committee.
