Incat LNG Ferry a World First
Australian shipbuilder Incat Tasmania Pty Ltd launch world’s first high speed passenger Ro-Ro ship powered by LNG (Liquified Natural Gas). The vessel will be the first installation of LNG powered dual fuel engines in an Incat high speed ferry, and the first high speed craft built under the HSC code to be powered by Gas Turbines using LNG as the primary fuel and marine distillate for standby and ancillary use.

World's First Dual-fuel Ice-class LNG Carrier
LNG Carrier 'Coral Energy' naming ceremony to take place next month at the Port of Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. The new ship is claimed by the Dutch owners, Anthony Veder, to be world’s first direct driven dual-fuel ice class 1A LNG carrier. Its development started in 2010 in close cooperation with Norwegian gas provider Skangass. The design of the ship makes it possible to deliver LNG to all sizes of terminals in an environmental friendly way.

PMS 1386: First of Two RAstar 3200 Tugs
PM Coast Maritime Pte. Ltd. completed sea trials of PMS 1386, the first of two RAstar 3200 tugs to be built by its own shipyard in Singapore. The RAstar class of tugs is intended for operations in exposed areas such as many new LNG terminals where a high standard of sea-keeping is required. With Fi-Fi 1, oil recovery and escort notations, this particular vessel is able to fulfill a wide variety of duties in adverse conditions.

HHI’s independent LNG Fuel Gas Supply (FGSS) the 'Hi-GAS' system (Hyundai Integrated Gas Supply System) allows marine engines to use diesel and LNG for fuel.
