S'hail Shipping Adds Two Vessels to Fleet

Qatar-based S'hail Shipping and Maritime Services has recently added MV S'hail Al Dukhan, 74143 DWT built at Namura, Japan and MV S'hail Al Rayan, 76629 DWT built at Imabari, Japan, to its fleet.

S’hail took Delivery of Shail Al Rayyan on 14th June 2019 and Shail Al Dukhan on 13th June 2019, said the company sources.

Last month, the company announced that it has entered into agreements to purchase two modern dry bulk carriers worth nearly QR75mn.

With the addition of these two ships, the company’s fleet size will increase to seven ships and the deadweight to 483,522 MT.

According to S’hail Shipping chairman and managing director Mohamed Khalifa al-Sada, its vessels are engaged in carrying various cargoes like grain, iron ore, coal, bauxite, cement clinkers and other minerals.
