Boxship Body for Rensen Shipbuilding Launched

On October 26, 2006 the Astrakhan-based Lotos Shipyard incorporated into the group of companies Maritime, Oil and Gas Projects launched the hull of the river-going boxship of Marina" type. According to the construction contract signed with the Dutch company Rensen Shipbuilding BV in early 2006, the company is to build 6 boxships' hulls. The river-going boxship of Marina type is to be 110 meters long and 11.45 meters wide, 3.55 meters draft. The vessel is top be deployed in the European inland waters.
