Panama Canal States Tug Escorts for Single-Hull Tankers

The Panama Canal Authority issued an Advisory stating that single-hull tankers operating under extensions granted in accordance with revised Regulation 13G or new Regulation 13H of Annex I of the MARPOL Convention will be escorted by at lease one tug during certain portions of the transit of Canal Waters, depending on the size of the tanker.
