The UAE-based full service ship building, ship repair and engineering services company, Topaz Marine Engineering confirms it has been commissioned by the Government of Sharjah – Al Diwan Al Amiri to build and deliver one Catamaran passenger ferry boa. Geo Plus' New Sustainable Survey Ship
Survey company Geo Plus will soon be putting into service its brand new survey ship Geo Focus. This innovative, hybrid ship will be officially christened on 23 June. The 35 metre long Geo Focus, which Geo Plus commissioned, was developed through a collaboration between Studio Yacht and De Haas Maassluis shipyard. The ship is equipped with ultra-advanced hydrographic measurement equipment for carrying out seafloor surveys.
Westfalia Separators for "Triple E" Class
The Korean company Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has placed an order for a total of 160 separators of the new eagleclass generation with GEA Westfalia Separator Group. They will operate on the twenty unequalled Triple-E container ships of A.P. Moeller Maersk shipping line, which will be launched between the end of 2013 and 2015. The Triple-E class is a new development of superlative in many respects.
