ShipMoney announced a new long-term strategic partnership with ship management compnay V. Group to digitalize its seafarersā payroll system. The deal also enables V. Group to make international corporate remittances, network payments, money transfers and all other forms of shoreside and onboard payments.Companies using ShipMoneyās Account Management System can pay crew members instantly with a single file upload or from their own crewing/payroll system via an API integration.

Ship management and marine support services giant V.Group said on Wednesday it has appointed René Kofod-Olsen as the companyās chief executive officer, taking over from Graham Westgarth who will become chairman. Kofod-Olsen will join V. Group on November 1.Kofod-Olsen brings to the role almost three decades of global shipping industry experience. In 2012 he was appointed CEO of Topaz Energy & Marine, a position he held until the companyās successful divestment in 2019.
