Additional WAGO Components Get GL Approval

Local marine approvals allow worldwide use of automation components in both ship automation and onshore/offshore applications. Thus, the majority of WAGO’s automation components are certified by prominent classification societies.

 

Both 750-881/-882 ETHERNET Controllers and 753-xxx Pluggable I/O Modules from the WAGO-I/OSYSTEM are now certified by Germanischer Lloyd (GL). Additionally, 25+ high-density, 16-point I/O modules have earned GL Marine Approval (e.g., 16-channel digital input modules). This enables WAGO to further expand its range of marine and offshore products. Beyond a variety of controllers, couplers and standard I/O modules, WAGO also has GL-approved Ex modules.
