U.S. Congressman Elijah E. Cummings (D-MD), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, expressed his appreciation for the service provided to the Maryland Port Administration by Executive Director F. Brooks Royster, III, who announced his resignation today. Chairman Cummings released the following statement: "I commend Brooks Royster for his outstanding service to the Maryland Port Administration (MPA). He is a dedicated professional who has brought great expertise in port administration to the Port of Baltimore and I have truly enjoyed working with him during his tenure. "Since he was named to head the MPA in May 2005, Director Royster has effectively managed the continued growth of the MPA and of the Baltimore Port District, which is now among the top 15 districts in the nation. "I wish Director Royster the very best in his future endeavors and thank him again for his dedicated service to the Port and to our community."
Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
