INTTRA, the multi-carrier e-commerce network for ocean shipping, announce that Craft Multimodal has entered into an agreement to join the INTTRA Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) network.

Craft, a market-leading cargo consolidator for import and export services in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, offers 180 routes throughout South America.

Under the agreement, Craft will leverage the INTTRA platform to reduce manual shipment processing and improve access to shipment information through a comprehensive e-commerce shipping solution. The agreement includes an accelerated implementation leveraging INTTRA’s online shipping capabilities for all of Craft’s brands, affiliates and customers. The efficiency benefits from automation and streamlined ocean freight shipment processes across INTTRA’s multi-carrier network will enable continued market expansion and improved service delivery to Craft’s customers.

“Our market leadership has been achieved through our focus on exceeding our customer expectations with a constant commitment to operational excellence, information accuracy and data confidentiality,” said Bruno Crelier, Corporate Director of Craft. “Leveraging the INTTRA platform gives us additional capabilities to execute against these essential elements of our company strategy.”

“The South American market has traditionally been a strong adopter of e-Commerce technology for ocean shipping”, said Ronald DeBlis, INTTRA’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales. “We welcome Craft and their affiliates to the INTTRA network and recognize it is a great combination of two market leaders. Building upon the strengths of both of our organizations, we can make dramatic improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of shipments throughout the region.”
