MarAd Issues Proposes Amendment for MSP

The Maritime Administration (MarAd) issued a proposed amendment to regulations governing the pilot program for reimbursement of costs of qualified maintenance and repair of Maritime Security Program (MSP) vessels performed in U.S. shipyards. The amendment, if adopted, would change the program from voluntary to mandatory. Comments on the proposal should be submitted by April 10. Source: HK Law
