ESSI Launches BlueTide Communications

A New Independent Company to Focus on Satellite Communications for Energy Exploration and Production, Maritime and Leisure Markets.

Environmental & Safety Systems International, Incorporated (ESSI), an energy industry service leader in Aids to Navigation (AtoN), SCADA and Safety Systems announces the creation of BlueTide Communications Corporation (BlueTide) via the spin-­‐off of the ESSI Communications Division.

BlueTide will focus on providing data, voice, video and monitoring services to the energy exploration and production industry, and the commercial maritime and leisure yacht markets, offering service coverage in 11 regions around the world including the U.S. coastal and inland waters, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, Brazil, Southeast Asia, the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean Sea, the North Sea and Africa. Specializing in providing highly reliable VSAT communications services to remote and harsh environments via the market-­‐leading Hughes Network Systems HX Mobility platform, BlueTide will integrate internally developed systems with third party solutions to ensure the highest reliability and efficiency.

“This move provides focus and agility for the newly formed BlueTide Communications Corporation,” asserted Director of BlueTide/President and Founder of ESSI Corporation Mr. Kim Adams. “ESSI and BlueTide will maintain a close, working relationship in support of common customers, services and solutions.”

The addition of BlueTide will not adversely affect current business operations.Existing ESSI customers, partners and vendors can expect to receive uninterrupted service and support. Mr. Emil Regard, general manager of ESSI’s Communications Division will transition to BlueTide as Managing Director/CEO and will be supported by personnel directly associated with the daily operations of the current network and customers. “We believe the creation of BlueTide will allow each company to invest further in expanding and improving services, to capitalize on their strengths, to pursue new business opportunities and to become leaders in their respective markets,” Regard said.
