D'Arcinoff Group, Inc. and its consortium partners will deploy the first phase of the $4.6 billion D’Arcinoff Group Energy Program (DGE), an integrated synthetic fuel, power generation and distribution project.

D’Arcinoff Group expects to install its first phase 40,000 barrel-per-day alternative fuel facility in Hudspeth County, Texas, to be operational by the end of 2016.

DGE is an environmentally clean, natural gas and biomass to liquid fuel and power generation initiative. The project will harness the carbon emissions from electric power generation and integrate them with renewable energy resources to produce drop-in, low emissions transportation fuels.

“Our project will enhance domestic fuel supplies, produce clean affordable energy and support significant U.S. job creation,” said Michael C. Darcy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, D'Arcinoff Group, Washington, D.C. “Later DGE will bolster clean power generation availability by delivering large-scale power from remote locations to urban areas without being reliant on conventional high-voltage electric transmission lines.”

In addition to Hudspeth County, DGE consortium partners include an array of multi-national and domestic corporations, government and non-government organizations, and unions who will provide the innovative equipment, services and personnel for the DGE project. Partners include:  The Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO (construction labor), Cool Earth Solar (solar developer), International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots (personnel for desalination vessels), GE (marine gas turbines and seawater desalination operations and maintenance), NEL Hydrogen (water electrolyzer technology), and STX Canada Marine (desalination ships). The D'Arcinoff Group recently signed an agreement with Dennis and Becky Walker to acquire the 10,000+ acre Walker Ranch, first of several properties in Hudspeth County area to be used for the project.
