Wind Farm Courses in Turkey

Turkey is one of the key emerging wind markets in Europe. As a response to the high demand in wind farm installation, GL Garrad Hassan is adding more training courses offered throughout Turkey in 2010. With the goal to develop professionals' skills within the industry, Wind Farm Design and Introduction to GH WindFarmer courses will be conducted in Istanbul on 28 and 29 September. A course on "Financing Your Wind Farm" will take place on 14 October.

Wind Farm Design is a one day course providing a detailed overview of the wind farm design process. It focuses on numerous principles including wind flow, turbulence, wake effects, optimized energy production, and the use of sophisticated software tools.

Introduction to GH WindFarmer is a one day course which provides an understanding of the software; its functionality, main calculation abilities, and usability. It builds on the concepts learnt in the Wind Farm Design course, taking the methodologies discussed and applying them.

Financing Your Wind Farm is a one day course for professionals wanting to learn more about project finance technical due diligence within the wind industry. GL Garrad Hassan has advised on more wind farm developments than any other company in the world and is best placed to advise on this subject.

The content of the courses draws on the collective expertise and knowledge obtained through over 25 years of successful operations in the renewables sector.
