Stretch Ceilings (UK) Ltd., suppliers of Barrisol Stretch Ceilings, has intoduced a deckhead system set to revolutionize design, construction and fitting-out techniques in all areas of the marine industry, says the company. The Barrisol range, found in an array of applications including sports complexes and auditoria, has been approved for use in the marine industry. The system is based on an extremely robust, lightweight, titanium-based vinyl film, weighing only 180 gms per sq. m., and measuring 0.2 mm in thickness. The system is self-supporting for areas up to 60 sq. m., secured by a simple track arrangement located around the perimeter of the area. The membrane can, if required, be fitted immediately below existing deckhead systems. For sizes exceeding 60 square meters, a single suspended semi-concealed jointing track is required in the middle of the area. The system is available in more than 100 colors, with finishes in matt, satin, reflective lacquer, suede or metallic, translucent or perforated.
