KEP, Orlaco Ink Distribution Agreement

Kessler-Ellis Products (KEP), the manufacturer of type approved displays and computers, announced today that it has been selected as the Americas distributor of Orlaco’s specialized commercial marine camera solutions. Effective immediately, KEP will sell, support and locally warehouse Orlaco’s full line of marine monitoring systems that include compact, self-cleaning, zoom, PTZ zoom and thermal imaging cameras.

According to the manufacturer, the new Orlaco camera series is suited for extreme marine conditions as the series provides a crystal clear view around any vessel in any situation. Orlaco’s new AMOS cameras use enhanced CMOS technology and offer unparalleled photosensitivity properties that are registered and displayed in real-time with an integrated on-screen safety ticker. Fully interchangeable with Orlaco's existing line of compact cameras, the AMOS series a wide supply voltage range of 12 to 24V/DC for simple integration with other systems. In addition to the AMOS line, Orlaco also offers a new AMOS IR LED camera. Based on the AMOS design, the camera is fitted with an adapted lens and fifteen infrared LEDs that are activated depending on the amount of surrounding light providing detailed images in any lighting condition. Orlaco’s AMOS and AMOSIR LED are compatible with Orlaco commercial monitors or can be used with KEP’s renowned line of marine and industrial displays.

Orlaco said its cameras are ultra durable for the harsh marine environment, both shock and vibration resistant, and fully dust-proof and waterproof to the IP68 standard. The company’s high quality monitoring systems provide extra visual coverage for the enhanced situational awareness of a vessel, crew and surroundings that can effectively help prevent accidents, as well as provide easier and more comfortable maneuvering or operating of onboard equipment. In addition to the camera range, KEP will offer Orlaco’s analog and IP-based CCTV solutions with one camera or multiple cameras for enhanced security.
