Oman Drydocks Handls 300th Vessel

 The Oman Drydock Company has celebrated the handing over of the 300th vessel since starting its operations in 2011, under the auspices of Said bin Hamdoon al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for Ports and Marine Affairs.

 The vessel, Olympic Luck, which was delivered yesterday (Jan 21) was converted from a multipurpose vessel to an oil tanker, a milestone achievement and an important project for Oman Drydock Company, said a statement from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for Ports and Marine Affairs.
 
Oman Drydock Company celebrates its success in repairing the Olympic Luck, the 300th vessel to be repaired since the company has started operation, says  Sheikh Dr. Abdul Malik bin Abdullah al-Hinai, Advisor of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of ODC =.
 
The repair for Olympic Luck, owned by one of the biggest Greek companies, included the use of 2500 tons of steel, mechanic works and paints. It also included routine maintenance operations using modern technologies and qualified teams.
