Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

March 21, 2013

Event showcases advanced design, construction and operations solutions for the energy, mining and shipbuilding industries.

Aveva   holds its Aveva World User Meeting Brazil 2013 in Rio de Janeiro. Delegates will learn more about Aveva’s solutions for the design and construction of plants and ships, as well as those for the modification and life extension of existing assets.  There will be opportunities to participate in technical discussions, exchanging experiences of current challenges and opportunities in energy, mining and shipbuilding.

Aveva will present its latest technologies, including the brand-new Aveva Everything3D (Aveva E3D), enabling plant design for lean construction, and Aveva Enterprise Resource Management (Aveva ERM) that supports efficient project planning, management and execution from design to construction.

"The Aveva World User Meeting Brazil is a unique opportunity to see demonstrations of new technologies and to learn how Aveva solutions are being used in other industry sectors," explains Santiago Pena, Senior Vice President - Latin America, Aveva. “This year, one of the main topics for discussion will be Aveva’s vision for its next-generation plant design solution, Aveva E3D. Aveva E3D enables those involved in the execution of major capital projects to monitor design, fabrication and construction as it progresses. Critical decision-making is streamlined, a new level of design efficiency can be achieved and better-quality projects delivered more quickly.”

Other Aveva products being featured include Aveva Bocad Steel for structural steel detailing and fabrication, and Aveva Net for maintaining information quality and integrity throughout a project’s or asset’s lifecycle.

In addition delegates will receive an update on Aveva’s products for 2D modeling: Aveva Diagrams and Aveva P&ID. Recent updates include improved user experience enhancements such as rule-based consistency checking, exporting and revision capabilities. As part of an Integrated Engineering & Design approach, benefits such as improved project efficiency and reduced engineering and design costs can be achieved.

The Aveva World User Meeting Brazil 2013 is a forum for end users, PDMS administrators and engineering managers.
