At the GRP Division facilities in Castropol, at high tide, the launching of a new GRP passenger ferry built for the Croatian shipowner Krilo HR took place.

Krilo Lux, with a capacity for up to 440 pax, has a length of 36 m and a beam of 10.5 m and can reach a speed of up to 34 knots, being the largest and fastest GRP catamaran built in Spain.

The vessel will operate as a ferry for regular passenger transport lines, covering the route between Split and Dubrovnik.

In the next few days, the ferry will begin its sea trial program and will be delivered to the owner next month.

It is the second ship that GONDAN builds for the Croatian shipowner Krilo HR, who have shown their satisfaction with this new vessel to the Spanish media.
