Keith Marine Relies on Wesmar

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

October 5, 2004

"Once we started using Wesmar bowthrusters we haven't used anything else," said Dick Keith, owner and founder of premier Florida boat builder Keith Marine of Palatka. He has installed 20 Wesmar's on luxury yachts and dinner cruise boats. "I like the power and efficiency of the counter rotating design. I like the stainless steel instead of bronze propellers," said Keith. His company operates a fleet of yachts ranging from 50 to 250 ft. including Luxury Dinner Cruisers, Cruising Yachts, treasury recovery vessels, Gambling Casinos, Cruise Tenders, Dive Boats, Tugs, Trawlers, and Paddlewheel Dinner Cruisers. Currently the company is building a 158-ft. Luxury Charter Vessel with a steel hull and superstructure. It is being built to USCG Dinner Cruise Ship standards, has Northern Lights generators and a Wesmar 150 hp electric bowthruster.

It is scheduled for delivery in November 2004 for use as a Dinner Cruise Ship entertaining corporate and private guests for dinners, weddings, and corporate events. Keith Marine is a family owned, family operated shipyard, in business over 25 years, located on the beautiful St. Johns River 75 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville, Florida.
