Encore Dredging Partners Acquires Inland Dredging Company

Newly formed dredging and marine infrastructure services firm Encore Dredging Partners, LLC. (EDP) said it has acquired Inland Dredging Company, LLC for an undisclosed purchase price.EDP said it completed the transaction with support from its sole financial sponsor, Austin, Texas-based private equity firm AV Capital. League City, Texas-based EDP is a mid-sized cutter suction and mechanical dredging services provider focused on navigable waterways throughout the U.S.For 24 years, Dyersburg, Tenn.-headquartered Inland has provided dredging services throughout the Central U.S.

USACE Memphis District Dredging Wraps Up

The Memphis District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has several missions associated with the Mississippi River. One of the most important is to keep the river channel at a depth that allows the river barge industry to dependably transport goods up and down the river.To deliver on this charge, the Memphis District awarded a contract/task order in the amount of $7,987,200 to the Inland Dredging Company in April of 2019. Eastern Shipbuilding Group Delivers Integrity

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. successfully delivered the Integrity, a 166 ft. 5 in. dismountable Cutter Suction Dredge, which they recently constructed for inland dredging company LLC of Dyersburg, Tennessee. The Integrity is a dismountable cutter suction dredge measuring 166.5 x 34.5 ft. x 7 ft. 10 in., which was designed by Vosta BV, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It was built to Bureau Veritas standards and is currently being used for various U.S. Corp of Engineer projects.

Panama City Dredging Project Underway

The Port of Panama City and the U. S. Corps of Engineers have begun a joint dredging project to deepen Panama City’s entrance channel and turning basin from 32 ft. to 36 ft. Inland Dredging Company of Dyersburg, Tennessee will begin work in the channel in January. The Panama City Port Authority is in the process of bidding the dredging work in the berthing areas. The entire project will cost approximately $8.5 million dollars and be completed by the end of May, 2003. The channel deepening is the first of a series of major improvements underway at the Port of Panama City.
