Wallenius Wilhelmsen Nets $100M for Logistics Contract Renewal
Wallenius Wilhelmsen, the worldâs largest RoRo vessel operator, has renewed logistics contract with one of its long-standing strategic automotive OEM customers.The revenues are estimated to be around $100 million over the contract period of three years.As part of the contract, Wallenius Wilhelmsen will continue to deliver factory vehicle processing services, including end-of-line service, accessory installation, rail loading, and yard management.âWe are pleased to renew our contract for three new years with a long-term partner.
WWL and Port of Hueneme Extend Contract
Port Officials and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), on the eve of WWLâs 26th anniversary at the Port, executed a fifth modification of its 1991 contract extending its agreement for an additional five years through December 31, 2018. Wallenius Wilhelmsen ships first began calling at the Port of Hueneme in1987. In 1991, WWL established Pacific Ro-Ro Stevedoring (Pac-Ro) to handle autos arriving at the Port and Pacific Vehicle Processors (PVP) as part of a further expansion of the companyâs logistics capabilities. WWL has been instrumental in driving the Portâs economic recovery and growth.
