NGSS Wins $20.7m Navy Deal

Northrop Grumman Ship Systems (NGSS-a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corporation), Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded an estimated $20,737,897 cost-plus-award-fee contract for DDG 51 Class follow yard services. NGSS will provide expert design, planning, and material support services for both ship construction and modernization. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by September 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-07-C-2302).
