Northrup Grumman Wins $34M Contract

Northrop Grumman Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $34,150,000 design and development, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide Systems Development and Demonstration (SD&D) and Production of the Ship, Submersible Guided Missile Nuclear (SSGN) Multiple All-Up-Around Canister (MAC) Subsystem, test, handling gear and support equipment. This contract includes options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $150,089,500. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale (70 percent) and Groton, Conn. (30 percent), and is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. The contract was not competitively procured. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-03-C-0015).
