Global defense contractor BAE Systems will overhaul the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Munro this summer in San Francisco for $1.7 million.
BAE will repair the 378-foot cutter in its San Francisco ship repair facility from June through August. Work will be done on the ship's hull, machinery and propulsion systems. BAE also did emergency dry dock repairs on the Coast Guard cutter Jarvis in December in San Francisco.
