SSPC Publishes Proceedings of 2000 Exhibition Seminars

The Society for Protective Coatings has published the proceedings of the seminars conducted during the SSPC 2000 International Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn., this past November.

SSPC 2000: The Proceedings of the Seminars, available both in softcover and on CD-ROM, reflects the practice in the preservation and maintenance of industrial facilities and structures through the use of protective coatings. The 48 papers contained in the SSPC 2000 proceedings present a wide range of strategies, experiences and perspectives on such technically diverse topics as: surface preparation and coatings for concrete; avoiding contract disputes and litigation; maintaining marine and offshore facilities; selecting and applying 100% solids; roles and responsibilities of project participants; abrasive blasting and water jetting; environmental, health and safety issues; and the preparation and execution of sound project specifications.
