Professionals Invited for USCG Workgroup

 

Search and rescue professionals and media are invited to the 2015 Search and Rescue Workgroup hosted by Coast Guard Sector Field Office Galveston, Texas, on Wednesday.

WHO: The Coast Guard and state and local search and rescue agencies

WHAT: Search and Rescue Workgroup for professionals to discuss capabilities, discuss best practices, build partnerships and watch Coast Guard helicopter and boat training; Coast Guard personnel will be available for media interviews

WHEN: Wednesday, April 8, 2015, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; search and rescue training is scheduled to commence at 12:45 p.m.
