The Port of Hueneme has adopted a new brand identity, making a bold statement to stimulate broader awareness of The Port’s competitive strength and commitment to smart growth. The brand re-development will support the new strategic plan that will shape the future direction of The Port.

The new look was inspired by the community’s agricultural heritage and The Port’s original designation as Point Hueneme, with global navigation points that merge at the center to form the needle of a compass. The overlapping shapes are used to suggest partnerships and intermodal intersections that combine to become an iconic letter H, with the inside space of the letter shaped like a ship’s hull.

“Today we are excited to unveil our new strategic direction for both business development and marketing. The support of the community has been tremendous during this year long process. We look forward to our continued partnership with the community and Port stakeholders as we implement our strategic business plan and Port rebrand and together, work to bring increased prosperity to Ventura County,” announced Port Commission President, Jason Hodge.

Port of Huene adds that the new brand rolls out simultaneously with the launch of The Port’s Strategic Business Plan. Full implementation of the brand, including a re-launch of the website, is expected next year.
