New Fuel Burn Reporting from gplink
Remote monitoring and tracking provider gplink said it now provides its fleet customers with a downloadable report which details fuel burn and engine hours for a specific time frame. For some, this means a report for just a few hours; for others, charter or service time stretches over a month or more, so users now have the ability to run reports for any time frame.
Although this new feature has only been available for a few weeks, fleet managers have found this feature even more useful in being able to share with their vessel owners, gplink reported, adding that business managers use this new tool also as it helps determine profit and loss on jobs. Speaking to the diversity of its applications, gplink said one charter company even uses its reports to invoice at separate rates for running vs. nonrunning hours.
