British boat manufacturer Ribcraft will officially hand over the second in a batch of specially built 6.8M RIBS to overwater Marine Drilling Contractor Fugro Seacore at Seawork 2012.

Ribcraft took on the challenge to create a RIB that met all the requirements set down by Seacore including single point lifting and Ullman suspension seats which are necessary to meet the latest EU directives for body vibrations. The finished product is on display on the stand at the show.

Fugro Seacore aims to be the world's leading overwater Marine Drilling Contractor, providing geotechnical services and specialist foundation solutions for the marine construction, renewables, and oil, gas and mining industries worldwide.

Ribcraft Managing Director, Mark Gardiner said, "We continue to see real growth in the commercial side of our business and Seawork is an opportunity for us to showcase the RIB we have built for Seacore together with its unique specification that ensures they are meeting the new EU legislation."

Ribcraft has recently completed orders for commercial operators working in sea rescue, military training, Marine Police units and offshore oil and gas installations. Clients are international and span West Africa, the Mediterranean as well as those closer to home.
