GL Nobel Denton Expands Safety and Risk Services
GL Noble Denton Boosts Safety and Risk Services in Norway through Strategic Partnership with XAFE
GL Noble Denton has expanded its safety and risk services to the Norwegian oil and gas market through a new strategic partnership with Stavanger-based consultancy, XAFE.
The cooperation will allow both businesses to meet a growing demand for risk analysis, technical safety, and HSE management services from companies operating in the Norwegian and UK North Sea.
Under the agreement, experienced local GL Noble Denton and XAFE engineers will deliver leading-edge safety engineering solutions and consultancy to a wide range of clients, supported by GL Noble Denton's worldwide team of senior safety experts. Both companies will expand their presence in Norway through a broader range of complementary services. GL Noble Denton will bring increased analytical modelling capabilities to the partnership, while XAFE's growing team of consultants will provide enhanced operational knowledge to GL Noble Denton's North Sea business.
GL Noble Denton's Managing Director for Norway, Tore Lea, said: "North Sea operators are making significant investments in developing the safety, integrity and performance of their assets, as Norway's oil and gas industry enters a period of considerable growth. Our partnership with XAFE will allow both companies to respond to the industry's risk mitigation and safety-related requirements rapidly, accurately and with the level of service they expect from a world-class technical advisor."
XAFE Managing Director, Ørjan Stien added: "GL Noble Denton and XAFE are ideally placed to grow our technical safety services as partners. Both companies have a clear vision to build upon our presences here in Norway, and this new combined approach will provide an unprecedented solution to the complex challenges facing North Sea operators by increasing our range of services and the speed at which we are able respond to our clients' needs."
GL Noble Denton's strategic partnership with XAFE marks the next step in the company's ongoing investment in its Norwegian operations. The independent technical advisor established a new Global Design Centre in Brevik earlier this year, providing operators across the world with access to some of the oil and gas industry's most valuable expertise in floating asset design. The company has also broadened the reach of its global offshore services with the launch of a dedicated dynamic positioning (DP) team at its offices in Stavanger, Norway.
